Merck
Manual's "Migraine" Section
As always, Merck is an excellent resource, and their Internet site contains lots of good
and interesting information--on migraine and a variety of other topics. However, BAM
patients need to always be aware that migraine sites generally do not take BAM into
consideration (and, therefore, any treatment measures that are discussed may be
inappropriate to a BAM sufferer). (12/97)

Neurology Web Forums at MGH
Harvard's Neurology Web Forums are a great place to browse for information and postings
from persons with a variety of neurological disorders. Since the popularization of The BAM
Page, though, there have been fewer and fewer postings on Basilar Artery Migraine on the
MGH site (guess where all of the Bammers have gone?). I've noticed that several of our BAM
Page regulars have been kind enough to peruse postings on this forum and point sufferers
to this site for more information. If you wish to help others in this way, please feel
free to point them in this direction and invite them to join the ever-growing BAM
community here. The larger this group grows, the more we can work together to bring BAM to
the forefront and get proper attention, diagnosis, and treatment for those who suffer.
