Bernsen HJ, Van de Vlasakker C, Verhagen WI, Prick MJ (1990) Basilar artery migraine
stroke. Headache 30:142-144
A 25-year-old woman with a history of basilar migraine attacks ultimately resulting in
a basilar artery migraine stroke is described. Brain computed tomography showed bilateral
hypodense lesions in the cerebellar hemispheres. A survey of literature on basilar artery
migraine is presented and the relation between stroke and migraine is discussed.
