| Hi! My name is Alexander, and this is my home page. I'm on the
Internet, and I'm only 3 months old! Does this tell you that I come from a long line of
"computer geeks," or what? Anyway, I'm just getting started. My Mommy is helping
me with HTML, since I'm new at it. We don't have a lot of time now, but we did want to get
started with this tonight (gads... this morning). I was born on February 18, 1998 at 7:08 pm at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon, USA. I was 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and I was 19.5 inches tall. Or, I guess when you don't stand up yet, that's "long" instead of "tall," but, hey, who's keeping score? Anyway, I've only got a couple of links so far, but Mommy and I will be working on more real soon! My Name and Good Will Hunting My first name is Alexander, which means "helper of mankind." It's also a name of kings--you know, a regal thing. My middle name is Robert, which is my Daddy's first name. It means "really handsome guy who can cook and do dishes, but unfortunately likes to watch too much sports on TV." My second middle name is Huntting. It's Mom's family name, dating to sometime way, way back in England. Like about 1,000 years ago. Needless to say, I have no real concept of just how long that is. Did you see the movie, "Good Will Hunting?" I haven't seen it yet, nor has Mom, but I hear it's about a real smart guy named William Hunting. That's my grandpa's name (but I call him Papa). He's real smart, too, but he spells his name with a "double T." Doesn't make him any less smart, though! Chervenell is Dad's last name. It's Czech, mate. (Sorry, but I get that from my Mom.) Someone was nice enough to Anglicize it a while back and add some vowels. I guess it was part of the Great Czech Vowel Movement. Ooops, there I go again--literally! Right now, I've only got a few that are ready to be put on my site. But I think I'm pretty photogenic nonetheless. Mommy's going to scan them in and help me put them on my home page, so you can all see what I look like as I grow. I plan to take time out from sleeping, reading Tolstoy, and surfing the Internet to pose for other photo opportunities. Can't really escape Mom and her camera, so I might as well learn to ham it up. My Room Daddy painted my new room blue. Mommy picked the color, since that was what her room was when she was young. I've got a Looney Toons border all around my room, since Daddy likes Taz, Mommy likes Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and Tweety Bird, and Papa Huntting likes the Road Runner, Wiley Cyote, and that big chicken thing. Guess good taste just runs in the family. |
